Life Is Winning | by Marjorie Dannenfelser, President of Susan B. Anthony List
Inside the fight for Unborn Children and Their Mothers © 2020 by Humanix Books Foreword by Sarah Huckabee Sanders Introduction by Vice President, MIKE PENCE I received an autographed copy of this book, either because I’ve publish numerous reviews on my website or perhaps because I’ve contributed to the Susan B. Anthony list. It was a very opportune time because of the recent presidential elections still in contention. Joe Biden and Kamala Harris announced that it was a fair election but seemed to make that assessment before the allegations of fraud appeared. The Epoch Times reports almost daily of major discrepancies in the electoral process. One report indicated that 21,000 dead people voted for Biden and Harris. That’s reminiscent of Jack Kennedy’s election in 1960 which had a huge turnout of voters from the cemeteries. They report tests on the Dominion voting machines have a consistency of giving Biden a1-2 percent advantage and giving Trump a 1-2 percent disadvantage. With such a close count in six states, this could cause a reversal of the results in these contested states. There was also the suspicious behavior of boarding up windows in the counting areas so that unbiased observers could not observe the counting which is somewhat self-incriminating. President Trump has been the most pro-life president in history. He also was the first president to attend the March for Life. Candidates Biden and Harris are the most pro-abortion who not only are for prenatal killing but also for postnatal killing. We have not seen how the postnatal killing is done. Is it by lethal injection as occurs on death row, or by decapitation, strangulation, or by physical suffocation? In his book, FORCED EXIT – The Slippery Slope From Assisted Suicide to Legalized Murder, Wesley Smith calls the cases of Assisted Suicide that he reviewed were murder and should have been reported. The author, Marjorie Dannenfelser, confesses in the first sentence of the first paragraph of her book that she is a convert. There was a time when she believed abortion was a good and moral choice. She had argued that Roe v. Wade was the linchpin of women’s rights. She admits that she came dangerously close to choosing abortion for herself. She feels that being a convert helps her recognize the conversion phenomenon in others as she has met thousands of pro-life converts. Some have been women who regret their own abortion. Many have been men who are profoundly ashamed of their failure to support both mother and child. She describes her conversion as an intellectual acceptance of what her intuition had always known. Others have experienced a moment of clarity or a sudden encounter with the truth. Either way, the process of conversion indelibly transforms one’s life. When she helped start Susan B. Anthony List (SBA List) more than 25 years ago, she hoped and prayed that our nation would experience a conversion what would restore the inalienable right to life for all. She never imagined, though, the role that would be played by a playboy real estate tycoon from New York City who was in the news the year of SBA List’s launch for divorcing his wife and marrying his mistress, who two months before the wedding had given birth to his child. She wonders what Nancy Pelosi, who said “nothing in my world is a surprise,” thought when she sat behind the president in his State of the Union address on February 5, 2019, and heard him say: There could be no greater contrast to the beautiful image of a mother holding her infant child than the chilling displays our Nation saw in recent days as lawmakers in New York cheered with delight upon the passage of legislation that would allow a baby to be ripped from the mother’s womb moments before birth. . . And then we had the case of the Governor of Virginia, where he basically stated he would execute a baby after birth. . . Let us work together to build a culture that cherishes innocent life. And let us reaffirm a fundamentle truth: all children—born and unborn—are made in the holy image of God. She then describes her meeting outside the Oval Office the previous evening when Trump shared this message and the sponsor of the bill, Kathy Tran, who had made it clear that her bill permitted abortion through all nine months of pregnancy, even as the woman is “about to give birth.” Governor Northam had defended this extreme abortion bill that was narrowly defeated by the legislature. This provided an alarming level of clarity about the true intentions of the abortion movement—unlimited abortion on demand, up to the moment of birth and even beyond. Governor Northam’s comment was added to Trumps speech on the spot and became a rallying call in many of his rallies. Dannenfelser brings in many insider stories of the radical abortion movement which needs airing to the American public. The president has made this a viable issue for members of his party. We’ll see what this may hold for the radical left as the elections draw near. Read more . . .
